The UGREEN 20222 is a 2m USB 2.0 Type-A to DB9 RS-232 serial adapter cable designed to connect modern computers to compatible equipment that still uses a traditional 9-pin serial interface. It converts USB communication into RS-232 serial signals through an integrated converter chipset and provides a male DB9 connector for compatible serial devices. The adapter supports configurable serial communication parameters for equipment such as industrial controllers, networking hardware, POS systems, barcode equipment and other legacy RS-232 devices. Unlike a passive cable, the 20222 performs active USB-to-serial conversion and requires a compatible USB serial driver on the host computer.
