The Transcend RDF5 is a compact USB 3.1 Gen 1 multi-card reader designed for SD and microSD memory cards. Its integrated USB Type-A connector plugs directly into compatible desktop and notebook computers without requiring a separate cable, while the USB 5Gbps interface provides higher bandwidth than USB 2.0 readers. The RDF5 supports SDHC, SDXC, microSDHC and microSDXC cards at UHS-I speeds and can also read compatible UHS-II cards at UHS-I performance. An LED indicator shows card insertion and transfer activity, while its lightweight 18g design makes it practical for portable photo, video and everyday file transfers.
