The Transcend RDC8 is a portable USB Type-C multi-card reader designed for SD, microSD and CompactFlash memory cards. It uses a USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface with transfer bandwidth up to 5Gbps and connects through USB Type-C for use with compatible laptops, desktops and other supported systems. The RDC8 supports SDHC, SDXC, microSDHC and microSDXC cards at UHS-I speeds, along with CompactFlash Type I and UDMA7 cards. Compact dimensions, a 32g weight and broad Windows, macOS and Linux support make it useful for photographers, videographers and users who regularly transfer files from multiple card formats.
